Dear Parishioner and/or Alumni,

Resurrection Ascension School opened its doors to the children of Rego Park in 1939.  The Sisters of Charity of Halifax provided a Catholic education that was of high academic quality and solid Christian values.  While much has changed in the past 70 years, the tradition of excellence continues today.

Our students consistently outperform the local public schools on New York state tests.  Our eighth graders are accepted to the best Catholic and public high schools in the city, many receiving scholarships.  Our teachers are professional, dedicated and knowledgeable.  Our school is equipped with state of the art technology which prepares our students for life in a global economy.

This learning is all rooted in the gospel values of our Catholic faith.  In addition to learning their faith and preparing for sacraments, our students learn the importance of service to others within and outside of the walls of Resurrection Ascension.

We are asking you to help us continue this mission.

This year we have initiated the Adopt a Child program.  We are asking our parishioners to donate $100 to offset the raise in tuition our parents will incur this year.  In essence, you are giving a small scholarship to a child in our school.  During these difficult economic times, this small donation will be a great help to our families.

If you are unable to make a $100 donation, every gift is accepted gratefully.

Please fill out the enclosed sheet and return it to our school in the enclosed envelope. Click here for Adopt a Child form

Thank you for being a friend of Resurrection Ascension School!

Sincerely,

Joann Heppt
