RULES AND EXPECTATIONS FOR THE YEAR
Students are to get their assignment pads signed each night by a parent/guardian. No late work is accepted for homework's and there are no make-ups for assignments. Extra credit is given at my discretion to the class as a whole, not on an individual basis and NOT to make up or boost a poor grade.
GYM IS ON WEDNESDAYS
My sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to the Heifer International project. Your donations were overwhelmingly generous. We will decide this month which animal the students would like to choose for a village.

6th-8th The students were instructed to memorize and perfect the delivery of their speeches over the break. We will have the in class competition on Friday April 20th and the school competition the following week. The students were given a grading rubric to refer to.
6th Grade: work on public speaking strategies and will deliver speeches.
7th Grade: continue to read "The Hunger Games" chapters 5-8 this week and will work on lessons 7 and 8 in chapter 13 of Voyages in English (Grammar).
8th Grade: continue working on Chapter 14 in Grammar, we will deliver speeches on Friday and begin vocabulary words in Unit 13.
