News From the Library
I am proud to announce that the Resurrection Ascension Library is filled with over 10,000 books! We have so many genres available to match the interests of every reader! We have:
*Mystery *Religion Resources
*Adventure *Mythology
*Humor *Crafts
*Horror *Science
*Sports Fiction *Taking Care of Animals
*Historical Fiction *Poetry
*Realistic Fiction *World History
*Easy Readers *Biography
*Fantasy *Atlases and Encyclopedias
I try to encourage our students to read books that they would not normally read so they can expand their repertoire. Who knows - they may just find a particular genre that they really love and it could spark a whole new love for reading!
I collaborate with the teachers to make as many books as possible available to the students when they have upcoming book reports and projects on specific topics. This makes the research process easier for the students. Of course, if we do not have exactly what the students are looking for, they are always encouraged to visit the public library for additional resources.
In addition, I always lay out a selection of books for the students to browse that coincide with upcoming seasons or holidays - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Easter, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas to name a few.
The Library is a beautiful getaway for our students to sit, read and enjoy the literature surrounding them! May they continue to immerse themselves in the wonder of books!
