25% Homework/Classwork
25% Participation
20% Quizzes
30% Tests
6th & 7th Grade's Final is scheduled for Friday, June 1st
8th Grade's Final is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th
All 3 tests will be cumulative.
6th Grade should study everything we've covered this year:
-Greetings (Hellos and Goodbyes)
-Manners/How to speak politely
-Numbers (1-60)
-Days of the week
-Months of the year
-Seasons
-Weather
-Telling time
-Currency
-Holidays: El Dia de los Muertos, Cinco de Mayo
-The Hispanic World (El Mundo Hispanohablante)
*Spain, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras,
Costa Rica, Panama
-Vocabulary added to the A-Z Index of their notebooks
7th Grade should study Unidad 2 & 3 of their textbook, focusing on:
-Vocabulary (pgs 17, 55, 95 & 133)
*Family members/people, rooms of the house,
activities in/around the house, describing people (adjectives),
interrogative words, birthday celebrations,
school related words, ser, tener,-ar verbs, etc.
-"-ar" verb conjugations (including "ir", "dar", & "estar")
-How to construct a complete sentence (subject, verb, noun, adjective)
8th Grade should study Unidad 2, 3 & 4 of their textbook, focusing on:
-Vocabulary (pgs 17, 55, 95 & 133)
*Family members/people, rooms of the house,
activities in/around the house, describing people (adjectives),
interrogative words, birthday celebrations,
school related words, ser, tener, -ar verbs,
"ir + a + infinitive", "tener + que + infinitive",
contractions "al" and "del", colors, clothing, etc.
-"-ar" verb conjugations (including "ir", "dar", & "estar")
-How to construct a complete sentence (subject, verb, noun, adjective)
