Resurrection Ascension School provides the opportunity for children to play basketball, baseball, track and swimming. Playing together allows the student to have fun, exercise and learn sportsmanship.

Children in grades 5-8 are able to participate more actively in Mass if they wish as Altar Servers. Father Amato trains and oversees the program and the children provide a valuable service to our parish.
The Student Council consists of 20 members whom are officers and representatives of their classmates from grade 4-8. Mrs. Gagnon and Ms. Arminio supervise the weekly meetings. The council brainstorms and organizes ideas. They communicate with their classmates and present proposals to the principal.

The choir at Resurrection Ascension School consists of approximately 20 students and is directed by Mr. Emmanuel Bologna. They meet for practice singing praises to God every Tuesday for one hour in the church. The choir performs at our monthly Family Mass and during other special masses and occasions.

The School Safety Patrol is sponsored by the American Automobile Association (AAA). The patrollers try to keep the students safe and prevent injuries. Some of their duties include stopping children from running and bringing sick or injured students to the office for assistance. The Safety Patrol is a very important part of the school and very worthwhile. Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Mezic are the school coordinators this year and have a very large and enthusiastic group of students on patrol!
