Home School Assc.
Every parent is a member of the Home School Association. We ask all of our parents to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per school year. These hours can be accomplished in a variety of ways throughout the school year. Service to the parish and in our CYO Sports Program also count towards the mandated volunteer hours.Some suggested ways to volunteer: Marketing Committee, Alumni Reunion Committee, Home School Association Newsletter Editor, Home School Association Website Manager, Technology Help, Advocacy Committee, Mini-Course Teacher and Lunch Duty Parent.
Our Home School Association Board is comprised of the following members: Claudia Valdes and Susie So Chang, co-Presidents; Margaret Tapalaga, Secretary; Liz Chamulak, Treasurer; and members Patricia Tineo, Millie Bonilla, Diana Tarantola and Janet Montoya.
In addition to the mandatory fundraisers (Gift Wrap Drive, Candy Drive and Chance Book Drive) the Home School Association is sponsoring the following events in the 2011-2012 school year:
October: Family Bingo Night
November: Ladies' Night Out
December: Christmas Boutique, Breakfast with Santa
January: Candy Drive, Catholic Schools Week Kids Day
February: Teacher Appreciation Day, Sweetheart Dance
March: Chance Book Drive, Scholastic Book Fair, Easter Bunny Breakfast
April: Supermarket Blitz
May: Mother's Day Plant Sale
