Middle States
Accreditation
Resurrection Ascension School is accredited by the Commission on Elementary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Middle States Association, founded in 1887, is one of six regional accrediting bodies in the United States. The accreditation process, which involves a rigorous self-study, an on-site evaluation, followed by on-going goal directed activities, demonstrates that the school is in compliance with widely accepted educational standards. Formal re-evaluation procedures are required to maintain continued accreditation status.

We are proud to announce that our Six Year Report has been accepted by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools.
The commendations were glowing! Here are some excerpts from the Middle States response:
- Values of justice, respect and integrity resound throughout the halls of Resurrection Ascension School.
- Emulating the rich traditions of Catholic education since its inception in 1939, the administration and teaching staff simultaneously sow the seeds of faith and knowledge.
- Their student body is exposed to diversified learning experiences and various instructional approaches. This nourishes and develops the myriad attributes of each child's personality: intellection spiritual, emotional, aesthetic and physical.
- Technology is the centrifugal force around which their next achievement revolves. Through the use of SMARTBoards, technology is being utilized to remediate, reinforce and enhance all facets of the learning process.
- Children are encouraged to be proactive participants in the expression of their faith through participation in the liturgical, sacramental and communal life of the Church.
We are especially grateful to Mrs. Linda Mezic for coordinating this effort.
